LVWCC Tutor Training Workshop

Our next tutor training workshop series will start in September 2011. The workshop is based on the ProLiteracy Worldwide student-centered approach to learning. Participants will learn about techniques and strategies for tutoring adult English language learners. Upon completing of the training, participants become ProLiteracy Worldwide certified tutors.

Thursday, September 15  6:00-9:00 pm
Saturday, September 17  10:00 am-4:00 pm

A $25 registration fee includes instructional workbooks, a variety of reference materials, and refreshments. Lunch will be provided at the Saturday workshop session. To receive certification, all three sessions must be attended.
